Tetons: Rock Chuck Peak

Lucas and I cruised down to Jackson for a push on the Skillet Glacier on Mt.Moran but the weather was pooky so we were scrambling for something to do besides drink and piss off the locals. Lucas had noticed this couloir going way up Rock Chuck when we paddled to campsite 14 on Mt.Moran the year before when we climbed the CMC route. And since we were walking, with little hope of getting anything done, we thought we would try some low hanging fruit; the base of Rock Chuck is ~1mile from the TH. The weather ceiling was only a hundred feet or so off the deck so we werent expecting much.
But then we found a moose. We play a little MUU game; if you spot a moose, the other person has to buy you a MT Moose Bomb. If you dont know what that is, its a drink Lucas invented very similar to an Irish Car bomb. Except you use Moose Drool in place of Guiness and knock-off Jameson and Baileys. Mmm.

Like I said, we really were not expecting to get anything done, but wait.

3,200 ft of climbing up the couloir later, we were on the false E summit in soup. We purposely set off a wet slide and jumped in on our butts and seriously rode the wet slide ~2kft down the couloir we had just booted up! Never done anything like that ever and it may not ever happen again; safe wet slide is an oxymoron isnt it? Lucas caught the whole escapade on camera and I will try and post it here. Unbelievable.
